Step-by-Step Guide to Filling Out the Form

1. Download and Access the form

The first step is to download and access the parents and grandparents form by visiting the official IRCC website.

Click on the link to the Interest to Sponsor form. The only problem with this form is only available during certain periods, so make sure you check when the form is open or you can learn more about “interest to sponsor” form from the table below.

2. Gather Required Information

You must have all the information before you start filling the form:

  • Your personal details (name, date of birth, contact information).
  • Details of your parents or grandparents (names, dates of birth, country of birth, and current address).
  • Your status in Canada (you must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident).
  • Information about your household size and income to ensure you meet the financial requirements.

3. Fill in Your Personal Information
