OINP Human Capital Stream Sent 2,086 Invitation targeted for Health Sector

On February 6, 2024: Ontario issued 2,086 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to potential candidates eligible under Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.

This draw specifically targeted candidates with work experience in health occupations and have minimum CRS Score ranging from 379 to 430.

Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Draw

Candidates were selected based on their work experience in their specific NOC Codes that are related to healthcare occupations. Only those with work experience listed in one of the specified NOCs in their Express Entry Canada profile were considered eligible.

If candidates received a notification of interest on February 6, 2024, they may apply to this stream, and once their applications is approved they will get 600 additional points in their Express entry profile.

What to do next if you’re invited?

If you have received NOIs, these are the steps you must follow:

1. Review NOI: Read the Notification of Interest (NOI) carefully to understand your eligibility requiremetns.
2. Gather Documents: Attach all the required documents, including identification, work experience proof, language test results, and education credentials.
3. Complete Application: Fill out and submit the application forms provided by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
4. Pay Fees: Pay the application fees as instructed by the OINP.
5. Wait for Assessment: Await the assessment of your application by the OINP.
6. Receive Nomination: Once you receive approval, you’ll receive a nomination certificate, adding 600 points to your CRS score.
7. Submit Permanent Residence Application: Apply for permanent residence through Express Entry.
8. Wait for Decision: IRCC will process your permanent residence application. Once it’s approve you will get your COPR and eventually PR.

Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital stream Requirements

To be eligible for Human capital stream you must have:

1. valid Express Entry profile.
2. Work experience in specific occupations targeted by Ontario, mostly Health or tech related.
3. Education equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor’s degree.
4. Language proficiency in English or French.
5. A Genuine Intent to reside in Ontario.
6. Adequate settlement funds.
7. Legal status in your current country of residence, if in Canada, then make sure on valid work permit.
