Prince Edward Island PNP Latest draw has invited 78 skilled workers to apply for immigration to Canada in a recent provincial selection process.
On February 3st, 2024 invitations were sent out to candidates under the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
These invitations were extended to people employed in various sectors such as Healthcare, Construction, Manufacturing, Food Processing, Agriculture, and Early Childhood Education.

In 2023, Prince Edward Island (PEI) sent out total of 2,423 invitations, which was an increase from the 1,853 invitations sent in 2022.

2.1 Skilled Worker Stream
This stream is for skilled workers who have a job offer in Prince Edward Island (PEI) and want to become permanent residents of Canada.
Eligibility Requirements
- Have a full-time job offer from a PEI business in a job classified as TEER category 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
- Completed post-secondary education with at least 14 years of formal education.
- Be between 21 and 55 years old.
- Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in the last 5 years.
- Have enough English or French skills for the job.
- Have enough money to settle.
- Show that you plan to live in Prince Edward Island.
2.2 Critical Worker Stream
This stream is for addressing labor shortages and is open to foreign workers already in PEI with specific jobs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Have a full-time job offer from a PEI business in one of the following jobs: truck driver, customer service representative, laborer, food & beverage server, or housekeeping attendant.
- Have worked for 6 months with the PEI business offering employment.
- Have a valid Canadian work permit.
- Have a high school diploma and at least 12 years of formal education.
- Be between 21 and 55 years old.
- Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in the last 5 years.
- Show basic proficiency in English or French.
- Have enough money to settle in PEI.
