Applicant Requirements
Job Offer:
- You need a full-time job offer from an Ontario employer, paying at least the median wage for your occupation, and must be in one of Ontario’s designated In-Demand Occupations.
Work Experience:
- At least 9 months of full-time or equivalent part-time work experience in the same in-demand occupation within three years prior to application.
- Part-time equivalent is either 1,200 hours over 18 months in one job or 1,200 hours over nine months in multiple jobs.
Language Proficiency:
- Proficiency in English or French at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 4 or higher.
- Submit proof of language proficiency through an approved test taken within two years before the application submission.
Education:
- Possession of a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent.
- If education is completed outside Canada, an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report validating equivalence to a Canadian high school diploma is required.
License:
- If your job requires a license or authorization in Ontario, you must possess a valid one at the time of application.
