Since the latest Express Entry draws, it can be seen that IRCC has raised up the CRS score for the majority of general draws and even for some category draws, CRS Score seems to remain higher. This leads to the important question will CRS score ever go down and if yes, by how many points and if Express Entry draw will fall 350 points.

That is the question that everyone has in their mind, and in today’s article, we’ll discuss that what are the possibilities of falling CRS score to 350 points and how can you get invited to the next Express Entry draw.

Express Entry Draw may fall below 350 points but this could be only for category based draw. It is very unlikely that the Express Entry draw will fall 350 points for the General Category.

Below are the categories for Express Entry Draw could fall 350 points for upcoming draws in 2024:

1. French Speaking Draws

One of the primary categories for Express Entry Draw is the French Speaking Category in which people are getting invited who have meet the french speaking eligibility. Some facts about this category are as below:

  • High Invitation Numbers: The largest French-speaking draw issued 7,000 invitations on February 1, 2024.
  • Frequent Draws: Till now there have been 4 French-speaking draws held in 2024: February 1, February 29, March 26, and April 24.
  • Lower CRS Scores: French-speaking draws generally have lower CRS score cut-offs compared to general draws. The lowest CRS score for French-speaking draws was CRS Score 336 on February 29, 2024.
  • Consistent Opportunities: French-speaking candidates have regular opportunities, with significant numbers of invitations in each draw.
  • Total Invitations: A total of 12,400 invitations were issued to French-speaking candidates in 2024.

This makes French Speaking as best option to get invited under Express Entry even if you have CRS score of less than 350.

2. Trade Occupation Draw

After French Speaking category, the lowest CRS score required to get invited is for Trade Occupation Draws, their CRS scores are generally less than compared to other categories like STEM, Transport or healthcare, or Tech Draws.

3. Agriculture and agri-food occupation draws

Another best option to get invited if you have CRS score of 350 is having experience in Agriculture and agri-food occupation draws. On, September 28, 2023: Agriculture and agri-food occupations draw with a CRS score of 354, issuing 600 invitations.

How to get Invited under Express Entry with 350 points?

1. Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)

1.1 Alberta Express Entry Stream:

One of the best streams you could go for PNP aligned with Express Entry is Alberta Express Entry Stream. This stream often invites candidates with CRS scores as low as 300, which is significantly lower than the federal draw cut-offs.

Requirements: Must be in the Express Entry pool, have strong ties to Alberta, or work experience in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification. This makes it one of the best option for Express Entry will go down 350 CRS score.

2. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

2.1 OINP Skilled Trade Stream:

OINP Skilled trade stream is for people having 1 year of work experience in Ontario and have at least 350 CRS score. This stream targets about 74 different occupations and most times invites candidates with CRS scores below or equal to 350.

Requirements: Must be in the Express Entry pool with a CRS score that meets the requirements of specific draws, Have 1 year of work experience in Ontario Skilled trade occupation.

2.3 OINP French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream:

Stream is especially designed to targets French-speaking candidates with strong English skills, making it accessible for bilingual applicants.

Requirements: Must have a high proficiency in both French and English and be in the Express Entry pool.

3 Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP)

3.1 Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry:

  • Nova scotia Demand Express Entry stream Regularly targets specific occupations and does not always require a job offer.
  • Requirements: Must have experience in one of the targeted occupations listed by Nova Scotia.

3.2 Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry:

  • This is for candidates who have at least 1 year of work experience in Nova Scotia, making it ideal for those already working in the province.
  • Requirements: Must have at least one year of work experience in Nova Scotia and be in the Express Entry pool.

4. Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

4.1 Skilled Workers Overseas:

  • This stream is designed for candidates with strong connections to Manitoba, such as relatives, past education, or work experience in the province.
  • Requirements: Must have a connection to Manitoba, a high demand occupation, and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).

4.2 Skilled Workers in Manitoba:

  • If you’re someone who is already working in Manitoba and have an employer’s support.
  • Requirements: Must be currently working in Manitoba and have a long-term, full-time job offer from their employer.
